We introduce this speedy recovery case study with a video.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u3010Damage Situation and Challenges\u3011Custom Machinery Submerged by Above-Floor Flooding: The Crisis of Unavailable Manufacturer Support<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heavy rain from a massive typhoon caused a nearby river to overflow, resulting in above-floor flooding at a construction material manufacturer&#8217;s factory. The &#8220;custom-made manufacturing equipment,&#8221; essential for supplying clients worldwide, was submerged, and internal corrosion (rust) began to develop within a few days after the disaster.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At that time, the client was facing the following two serious challenges:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Challenge 1: Replacement was impossible<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Since it was a custom-made machine, ordering a new one would take several months, making delays in delivery to clients (and the risk of losing social credibility) unavoidable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Challenge 2: Delayed response from the machine manufacturer<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Due to the widespread nature of the disaster, the manufacturer was also overwhelmed and could not rush to the site immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">RecoveryPro\u2019s &#8220;On-Site Disassembly and Precision Decontamination&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RecoveryPro conducted an on-site inspection on the 4th day after the disaster.
