★ Disaster Recovery Technician ＜Full-time Employee＞
〔Job Description〕

Restoration of buildings (factories or stores) or machinery equipment affected by disaster.

〔Qualification Requirements〕
  • Regardless of experience or qualification
  • Driver’s license (AT Acceptable)

≪Experience/Qualification≫　*Appreciated
Experience in maintenance of equipment/machine

  • Experience in cleaning service
  • Experience in equipment maintenance, ex. boiler
  • Second Class Electrician or above
  • Car technician
  • Experience in construction work
  • Diploma from industrial high school/ technical college
★ Disaster Recovery Specialist/ Project Manager (Recovery Plan Proposal and Machine/Equipment specialist) ＜Full-time Employee＞

〔Job Description〕
Inspection of machines/equipment affected by disaster at the disaster site, recovery plan proposal, and closing the deal, and management of projects.

  • Inspection of affected properties
  • Quote of recovery cost and proposal of recovery plan
  • Negotiation with customers or manufacturers
  • Procurement of required equipment parts or instrumentation
  • Coordination of project staffing including internal technicians or subcontractors
  • Proposal of additional recovery plan when necessary
  • Quality control of recovery work/ various training
〔Qualification Requirements〕
  • Those who meet any of the following criteria:
    ・Knowledge of electronics/ machine/ equipment or experience in maintenance work
  • Driver’s license (AT Acceptable)

  • Experience as a sales engineer
  • Diploma from industrial high school/ technical college
  • Experience in negotiating with customers
★ Disaster Recovery Specialist/ Project Manager (Recovery Plan Proposal and Construction) ＜Full-time Employee＞

〔Job Description〕

★ On-site Safety Manager ＜Full-time Employee＞

〔Job Description〕
Safety management for recovery works at disaster sites and internal training.

  • Safety regulation and rules for work at site and their implementation
  • Safety Management and Instructions for operation staff and subcontractor employees at sites
  • Updating safety regulations
  • Safety patrol and guidance at the recovery project site

【Working Hours】

9:00～18:00（Worked hours: 8 hours)

【Employment Status】

Full-time Employee/ Contract Employee (negotiable)

  • Overnight allowance (5,000yen per night on business trip for recovery work or marketing activities) *Business trip is around 150 days per year.

【Training Program】

  • In-house Training (Technical Training (Official training package by BELFOR Group) Offsite Training once a year
  • External Training (Aerial lift, low-tension electricity, Scaffold, and etc. Work safety trainings, Commercial training, and etc.)

【Qualification Support】

Company support your personal efforts to get new job-related qualifications. For example:
・Electrical worker　　・Construction managing engineers (Varied) 　　・Loss Adjuster etc.

【Holiday/Vacation】

  • Five-day work week system (Holidays per year: Some 120 days (Sat/Sun/Public holiday))
    * Work on holiday may be required if the recovery project is on tight timeline. Compensation leave will be entitled in such cases.
  • Year-end & New year (29th December – 3rd January) holidays
  • Paid Holidays (Annual Leave)
    * Holiday planning program (For twice a year, company encourages employees to take planned consecutive leaves)

FAQ Q: Do you have to work at nuclear power plant?
A: No. Job sites are mostly affected by fire or water. They are factories or commercial facility of various industries which are insured.Q: Are these work sites dangerous ?
A: In the case of a fire, our company will only be activated to the site after the sites are inspected by the firefighters and police and are deemed safe.Q: I am worried that I don’t have the type of experience or skill sets to handle this type of work.
A: Senior RecoveryPRO staff will teach you through on the job training. We also have in-house training programs. We have programs that enables you to improve your skills through internal and external trainings as well as qualification support programs.Q: Too many business trips?
A: Working on Saturday or Sunday may be required when the project is on a tight timeline. But you can take compensation leaves in such case. Many business trips are expected but we always offer compensation leaves after the project completion. We also provide more paid leaves than required by law and encourage employees to take planned consecutive leaves.
